Summer is a time when the element of Air is at its utmost activity.
In nature based spirituality and in the old traditions, Summer starts with Beltane (1 May) and ends with Lughnasad (1 August). Thus, Summer Solstice Day is called Midsummer Day (the middle of the summer)
According to Sun orientation (astronomy), Summer starts with Summer Solstice, 21 June, and lasts untill 23 September, the beginning of Autumn.
Nonetheless, at this time, the Sun-shine is in its greatest power in the Northern Hemisphere.
So, dance and be free!
